Holy crap! The CA fires are really bad right now. I am in Anaheim which is not in any danger but the surrounding areas are intense. We are dealing with the smoke & ash at this point.
I always really feel bad when this hits us every year ~ all the people who lose their homes and sadly animals. And the hardwork of all the firefighters who have come from every city and state to help. There are so many fires they are working thier butts off and are still a long way from containment. The Santa Ana winds will be with us for a few days which doesn't help.
Please put So. CA in your thoughts and prayers ~ we're gonna need all the help we can get!

Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives.
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a DISTANCE.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of, or at least minimize your time with, draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know or appreciate you?
You don’t have to like or love all who enter your life. But you don’t need to hate them either. Let those that don’t make you happy go. Wish them well and that they find their happiness in time and move on.
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of Your Life.
"If you cannot change the people around you, CHANGE the people you are around." Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our income. And so we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information with which we feed our minds.
We should not share our dreams with negative people, Nor feed our dreams with negative thoughts.
It's your choice and your life..... It's up to you who and what you let in it......

I am absolutely speechless.....there are no words.....well maybe a few!
It's the eyes, those BIG BROWN SOULFUL eyes. No, No, it's his lips, those BUBBLEGUM lips! Wait, hold on, maybe the hair?.......his cute nose?.....the dipple in his chin?...Oh crap, I can't decide - all I know is when you put it all together what you get is amazing!

Happy Friday Loyals! We had some excitement in the neighborhood last night!
Date Line – Anaheim, CA [Thursday, 10/18/07 - 10:45pm (PT)]
The evening was like any other Thursday evening – nothing special. I had just slipped into bed, turned on my alarm and was laying there trying to get my “mind chatter” to stop so I could fall asleep when off in the far distance I hear sirens and the faint beat of helicopter blades. I didn’t think much about it until I began to focus on these sounds getting louder and louder. All of the sudden I hear screeching tires, a lot of sirens and the thunderous pounding of the helicopter blades right over my house!
I shot out of bed and looked out the window just in time to see a White SUV zip by the house followed (literally on his bumper) by 10-15 of Anaheim’s and the CA Hwy Patrol’s finest moving at approximately 50 miles per hour down our tiny street!!!! I ran out to the hallway where I literally ran into the kids – we were bumping into each other to get the front door open to “go see” what was happening outside.
Once we got outside it was total chaos. There were at least 10-15 police cars everywhere “lights-a-blaring’”, a multitude of police officers out of their cars running in every direction, approximately 5-8 dogs from the K-9 Unit on stand-by across the street – all barking, local media vans parked in driveways and their camera guys on foot running to “the scene” along with every local news helicopter in the air hovering while “Angel 1” (Anaheim’s name for their helicopter fleet) was circling over the house shinning the light at everything! And then there’s us….. and every neighbor on the block standing in their night time all-together gawking at all the pretty lights and excitement. [Can I just tell ya…..I love my neighbors, but seeing them in their night time all-together was a little TMI for me....thank goodness I had the presence of mind to wear something cute and appropriate for night gawking to bed!!!!] and how stupid were we to be out there not really knowing what was going on…….thank God there were not guns a firing at this guy!
Anyway, we stood out there like idiots for about 20 minutes sending a runner into the house to check the 11pm news to find out what was going on. And yes, we made the channel 4 (NBC…plug, plug, plug) news. Evidentially the police tried to stop this guy in Lynnwood, CA (approximately 25 miles from Anaheim) for reckless driving and he took off – after he was caught he was ultimately arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of narcotics, transporting narcotics, and felony evasion. How odd that he would start this thing 25 miles away and end up in our neighborhood. Go and figure.

OK - I'm back on-line at home (finally) and was catching up on e-mails. I watched a you tube someone sent to me where Criss was swimming with the sweetest dolphins in Mexico and when it was done these came up.
