After the day I had it was nice to come home to a mini rehearsal!
My son's college is doing a production of Grease in November. Cory is playing Danny, Cory's girlfriend is accompanying on piano and right now Rizzo and Sandy are rehearsing their songs. I'm gonna have "Hopelessly devoted to you" in my head all night! They are really good too ~ these are some really talented individuals. I love it! It makes me happy and proud to see them doing what they love.

It's always been my experience that Fridays should be a day where calm and relaxation begin (since you are winding down the tough week to gear up for a few days off). However, lately my Fridays feel like I've stepped past the weekend right into the Monday frenzy!!!! However, my work environment doesn't help much. Ever work for a micro manager? (enough said). Just had a "discussion" with mine and I'm frustrated beyond words!!!
Anyway, I needed to center myself so I thought I'd come here to take a few deep breaths and calm down ~ and it's working......whew....what a day!
On a happier note, I am officially going to Vegas for Thanksgiving! My husband and I wanted to do something different for the holiday so we're heading for Vegas. Can't wait!!!!
Hope everyone is having a better day than I am ~ I'll be OK soon as I release this tense frustrated feeling. I'm gonna go walk it off.....

First of all, thanks for the comments of love and concern ~ it’s nice to know so many out there care ~ you all are great!
What a week! It’s calm now…..and I think we're going to be OK. Most of the fires are out here in So. Calif. (Thank God!) Now we need to deal with the sick individuals who purposely started some of these fires and the clean up. My heart goes out to all who lost everything ~ some are co-workers! Where I work, we have several people who commute from all the areas of So. CA so it really hits home when you find out they are now homeless. :(
I thought Criss did a great job last night on Phenomenon. I saw a couple of shots of Criss as they would go to commercials and his body language was revealing (at least to me). You can tell he is taking this very seriously and will not say what people want to hear. It’s nice to see this side of Criss. However, the expectation "bar" Criss spoke of is set pretty high for me, there is no one better out there that I know of, and it's not just because I'm a Fan. It is what it is and it's gonna take someone pretty amazing to impress me. The nail gun demo was what impressed me last night, the others were very flat (a couple bordered on annoying) and didn’t impress me. However, I will keep an open mind and let it reveal itself as the shows go on. I'm hooked and I'm anxious to see the rest of the contestants to see what others have to offer.
Don't know what I'm going to watch on TV tonight. Sort of got used to “Criss TV” two nights in a row.....I'm having withdrawals’!!! Maybe I'll rewatch some of Season 3 MINDFREAK episodes to calm my anxieties.

Whew! The wind has finally died down tonight (at least where I am). I hope it stays this way so the firefighters can get a handle on these fires through the night. So many have lost so much ~ it's very sad. This is the worst fire season I have ever seen.
